One visit Root canal
Treatments: Make Life simple
Our advanced technology includes:
-
The use of an electronic apex locator which measures the
length of your tooth.
-
Significantly superior rotary files clean and shape the
canals significantly superior to conventional hand files.
-
The use of Aseptico Endo DTC digital torque control motor
with contra angle for precision when using our rotary
files.
-
The use of a endodontic heater which warms the material
(gutta percha) to be placed in the root canal(s).
Your
root canal therapy will be performed normally within one
hour or less. A post can usually be placed during the same
visit, so that you are ready for your crown. This saves
you time and multiple visits. While watching TV on our state

What
is a Root Canal? The dental term is Endodontic therapy.
'Endodontic' means within the tooth itself.
Your
tooth is made up of three layers. The outer layer of the
tooth is called the enamel. The second layer, the bulk of
the tooth is the dentin. The third layer, the pulp consists
of nerve, lymph and blood vessels.
During
root canal therapy, the third layer, the pulp is removed
and replaced with a rubbery material called gutta percha.
Root
canal treatment is usually performed because your tooth
has become infected or diseased. Trauma can also cause the
need for root canal therapy. You may not even know you need
root canal.
The
sooner the diseased tooth is diagnosed and treated, the
less chance of loss of the tooth or intervention of an oral
surgeon.
In most
cases, a post/core and crown(cap) are placed to prevent
fracture of the newly treated tooth.
Why
not just remove your tooth? No replacement is as good as
your natural tooth due to the ligament that surrounds the
tooth giving it suspension and support.
If the tooth is not restorable, there are other options
such as dental implants, fixed bridges or removable dentures.
